HELP US FIND MORE FOSTER PARENTS
Current foster parents are our best recruiters. Here is what you can do:
Refer someone you know. If you know someone who would make a great foster parent, refer your friend to the Board of Child Care. If your referral becomes a licensed foster parent, you receive $125.
Host a party. What better way to learn about foster parenting than from foster parents themselves in a friendly, informal setting. Earn $75 by inviting at least five people to your home to learn about foster parenting. We provide a speaker, videotape, activity and food.
Distribute fliers about the Board of Child Care’s DC Foster Care Program at your workplace, place of worship, library, grocery store and other locations.
