Search, Contact, and Reunion Program

For individuals or birth parents who received private adoption services through the Board of Child Care, we can help you through a process of seeking more information regarding your personal adoption case. Through a confidential intermediary, and under the guidelines and mandates of the laws of the State of Maryland, we will work with you to:

• Provide you with non-identifying background information from the agency’s files.
• Facilitate a search for a birth parent or adopted individual over the age of 21.

Disclosure of any identifying information requires the mutual consent of both parties, and either party may choose whether personal contact or release of information is acceptable.
