Donation Ideas

Christmas Store Wish List

The following items are needed: Donations are needed by November 21, 2018

-Pots and pans (new)

-Bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels (new)

-Toiletries for men & women i.e. shampoo, lotion, deodorant, body wash, toothpaste, lip balm, etc.

-New Blankets or small throws

-New Winter accessories: gloves, scarves, hats, socks (all sizes – boys and girls; men and women)

-New hoodies in all sizes

-Board games & card games

-New stuffed animals and Baby dolls

-Children’s toys (these can be gently used if in good condition)

-Matchbox or Hot Wheels type cars

-Kitchen utensils and small appliances such as a blender, toaster oven, etc.

-Dishes (preferably non-breakable like Corelle)

-New kitchen towels

-keychains

-new snapback hats

-sports teams items (NFL, MLB, NBA team related – shirts, trinkets, etc.)

-Night lights (the small ones that plug-in)

-books in good condition for children, teenagers and young adults (especially books in Spanish)

What The Campaign Raises Money For: Your Contribution to the Christmas Offering first funds presents and holiday celebrations for BCC’s youth throughout the year. After those needs are met, gifts will be directed to where they are needed most throughout BCC’s programs.

Being away from your family on your birthday is difficult for any child. We want to make the children feel extra special on their birthday by sending them kind and loving words from the community.

To join the birthday club sdownload-1imply send an e-mail to CMosley@boardofchildcare.org or call our main desk to speak with Charlene (410)922-2100  to get on the Birthday Club list.

Once a month via e-mail or postal mail (your choice), you will get the names, birthdays and ages for the youth that are celebrating a birthday next month. Please write as many cards as you can and mail back or drop off to the

 Help us Welcome our New Youth

When a new resident arrives on campus BCC’s Spiritual Life Team provides the child with a welcome bag full of gifts and necessities. Can you help provide any of the following items to help welcome a foster child into care?

  • Full-Size Shampoo and/or Conditioner
  • Full-Size Body Wash
  • Comb or brush
  • Toothbrush and Tooth Paste
  • Notebook and pen or pencil
  • Stuffed Animal and/or Fleece Blanket 

Please drop off items to the most convenient BCC Location to you. We always appreciate a call ahead to assure someone is there to meet you.
