
TFC parents are special people who provide guidance, love, and stability
If mentoring a child through bruised knees, the birds and bees and A’s and B’s appeals to you, the Board of Child Care’s has two great ways you can get involved:
Become a full-time Treatment Foster Care (TFC) parent:
Together, BCC and individuals like you team up to prepare our young adults for independent living, reunification, guardianship, or adoption.
Become a respite care parent:
Parenting can be challenging and demanding for any individual or couple. Sometimes a break from the kids, even if it is just a date night out, is needed to help recharge. Respite care providers offer scheduled breaks, for natural families and other caregivers of children and youth.
