MASK CHALLENGE (homemade)

Coffee Filter and Cloth Face Masks – 1000 by Easter

As an essential health care service provider, Board of Child Care (BCC) needs your help in stockpiling 1000 face masks by Easter to support our staff who are working around the clock during the COVID-19 crisis! We are asking for partners in our community to help our youth and staff from the safety of their homes by making coffee filter and cloth face masks.

How you can help:

We need volunteers to make homemade coffee filter and cloth face masks for our staff and we have located instructional videos on how to use common household items to make face masks.  The instructional videos and list of materials can be found by clicking the following links:

Thank you in advance for your support!

Other PPE Needs

While Board of Child Care (BCC) staff attend to the needs of our youth, we are concerned about their safety as they offer compassionate, trauma-informed care to our kids during this time of crisis.  In keeping with our tradition, we are reaching out to our community to assist us with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and emotional support as we care for one another at BCC.
