Adoption Services

Referral and counseling assistance is provided to families both pre and post-adoption. A post-adoption search and reunion service is also available.

Bridge Program — Baltimore Campus

Location: Baltimore, MD

Provides a safe haven and place of healing for recently hospitalized youth experiencing complex mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

Caminos

Locations: Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and National

Provides safe, secure placement options and post placement supports (post release services) for these children who have recently migrated to the United States. 

Caminos Home Study Post Release

Locations: Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and National

Expands Board of Child Care’s continuum of care serving recently migrated youth through the provision of comprehensive, safety-focused home studies and holistic, client-centered, and trauma-informed Post Release case management services.

Caminos Long Term Foster Care

Location: Maryland

Provides short-term shelter to recently migrated youth under 18 years of age whose lives are in jeopardy after fleeing alone from Central America’s Northern Triangle”. 

Children with Serious Emotional Disorders Waiver (CSEDW) Program

Location: West Virginia

Offers intensive home- and office-based therapy services for youth receiving Wraparound care.

Emotional Cognitive & Developmental Disabilities (ECDD)

Location: Baltimore, MD

 Offers high-intensity residential group home programming on its Baltimore campus for youth aged 14-20 who present with Emotional, Cognitive and Developmental Disabilities (ECDD).

Early Learning Program

Location: Washington, D.C.

Provides quality childcare focused on the growth and development of children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years, from different socioeconomic and racial backgrounds. (Admission info.)

Lotus Program

Location: Maryland

Offers holistic, high-intensity treatment for young females aged 14-20 who meet (or are at risk of meeting) the profile of Commercially Sexually Exploited Children as defined by the State of Maryland.

Outpatient Mental Health Clinic

Location: Pasadena, MD

Individual and group sessions provided for youth ages 3 to 18 and their families. Focused on serving families on Medicaid. (Referral info.)

Regional Navigator Program

Location: Anne Arundel County, MD

For youth and young adult survivors of sex trafficking. The program will improve access to coordinated, trauma-responsive services and provide culturally competent, comprehensive, and holistic trauma treatment in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Residential Services — Pennsylvania

Location: Cumberland County, Pennsylvania

Campuses provide engaging experiences for youth within a safe, structured setting. A multi-disciplinary team comprised of medical, clinical, recreational, spiritual, and program staff design and implement a comprehensive, customized treatment plan for each child in care. Community group homes keep residents integrated into the community and allow them to attend public school while also acquiring independent living and job training skills. Our Pennsylvania community home offers residential services in the beautiful, peaceful rolling hills of Cumberland County, just Southwest of Harrisburg.

Residential Services — Maryland

Location: Maryland

Campuses provide engaging experiences for youth within a safe, structured setting. A multi-disciplinary team comprised of medical, clinical, recreational, spiritual, and program staff design and implement a comprehensive, customized treatment plan for each child in care. Locations in Baltimore, MDDenton, MDMartinsburg, WV, and Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Community group homes keep residents integrated into the community and allow them to attend public school while also acquiring independent living and job training skills. Four homes in Maryland. We’re proud to operate three community-based group homes across Maryland in Hagerstown, Colesville, and Baltimore.

Respite Foster Care

Location: Maryland

Provides periodic weekend or short-term care (30 days or less) to foster youth who are being served full time by another BCC TFC family.

Strawbridge School — Baltimore Campus

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

A nonpublic special and regular education school serving preschool through age 21 in a therapeutic environment. The school specializes in serving youth with autism, as well other learning, health, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. (Referral info.)

SWAN

Location: Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

Serves children by expediting their adoption permanency services. Services provided include development of preparation plans that ensure placements are a proper fit and reduce time to permanency, comprehensive summary of a child's history and specific needs, and identification and development of permanent connections and supports for all youth as they transition through foster care and residential services, and back into the community. Treatment Foster Care

Location: Maryland

Provide therapeutically structured home environments for youth ages 2 to 21. Specially trained foster parents and BCC’s professional staff work to ensure youth are nurtured in a safe and encouraging home setting. Start your journey to becoming a foster care parent here. (Make a client referral.)
