Family / Youth:

The ages and genders served by BCC’s residential programs vary by location.  For BCC’s residential programs admission must come via a referral from your local county’s social service agency.  BCC has a wide variety of programs so please check our full list as not all require admission via state referral – only the residential programs do.

In Maryland, the name of the state agency who would make the referral to one of BCC’s residential programs will vary based on the county that youth is currently living in.  A good starting point is the Department of Health and Human Resources (DHR).  Locate your county office in Maryland here.  Our admissions team can also help point you in the right direction.

In Pennsylvania, all referrals to the residential programs on the Mechancisburg campus originate from the child’s local county department of social service office.

In West Virginia, all referrals to BCC’s residential programs come through the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHR).  Locate your county DHHR office in West Virginia here.

Board of Child Care’s programs are open to any individual regardless of their religious beliefs.  Read more about Spiritual Life programing and BCC’s affiliation with the United Methodist Church.
