Foster Care Programs

Foster care provides a safe and loving home for children who are unable to live with their biological families. The Board of Child Care has two foster care programs – the Treatment Foster Care Program and the DC Foster Care Program. Staff with each program work to recruit foster parents and connect children with suitable homes based on their needs. Each year, BCC’s foster care programs serve more than 100 children.
